Professional Food Photography in Dubai for Restaurants, Cafes and Brands

I'm Ibrahim, founder of Spinthiras Media, and I shoot food for one reason: to make someone hungry enough to order before they've finished reading the menu. Not to win a wall print. To move product.

For the last decade I've worked with restaurants, cafes, cloud kitchens, and F&B brands across the UAE, and the first thing I've learned is that no two of them should look alike. Some want dark and moody, some want bright and appetite-first, some walk in with no idea and we find it together. A dessert brand and a steakhouse should never look like they hired the same photographer, and the direction gets settled before the camera comes out, not fixed in edit afterward.

The awards help (ranked #3 food photographer in the UAE, 14 international wins), but they're not why people come back. They come back because the images earn their money, on a menu, a delivery app, or a campaign. Studio in Sharjah, shoots across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider GCC. Let's make this happen.

What I shoot

  • Menu, website, and packaging photography, plus delivery-app listings shot to spec for Talabat, Deliveroo, and Noon, so nothing gets rejected or auto-cropped

  • On-location restaurant shoots that work around your service hours, or full styling and controlled lighting in the Sharjah studio

  • Beverage and coffee photography for cafes, roasters, and F&B brands, from hero pours to full drink menus

  • Behind-the-scenes content and cinematic food reels built for Instagram and TikTok, shot alongside stills in the same session

  • Campaign, editorial, and launch photography when you need something bigger than a menu refresh

  • Hotel and fine-dining photography for hospitality clients who need buffets, plated courses, and ambience covered in one shoot

Why work with me

Food photography works when the person looking can almost taste it. That doesn't come from a filter, it comes from lighting that makes steam and syrup read on camera, styling that keeps a dish honest, and knowing which angle makes it look worth its price. I shoot what's actually on the plate. No stunt-double burgers, no props your kitchen can't reproduce, because a photo that oversells the dish just earns you a bad review when it arrives.

Restaurants, cafes, cloud kitchens, and food startups come to me for the same three reasons: to turn menu and delivery-app listings into actual orders, to hold one consistent look across every platform they sell on, and to stand out in a city where every F&B brand is fighting for the same three seconds of scroll. Clients like Era, Gully Kitchen, Saudi Dates Center, and Skechers have trusted that. You're not hiring a photographer, you're hiring someone who treats food content as a sales tool and is accountable for whether it performs.

How a food shoot runs

  • Discovery Call — We go through your dishes, your brand, where the images will live, and what you need them to do. A delivery menu and a launch campaign are shot very differently, so we settle the goal first.

  • Creative Planning — Menu selection, mood board, props, and styling locked before the day. If a dish needs specific plating, garnish, or a food stylist on set, we sort it now so shoot day runs clean.

  • Shoot Day — Your kitchen or our Sharjah studio. Dishes come out in batches and get shot fast, so nothing wilts, melts, or dries out under the lights before it's captured.

  • Delivery and Feedback — Edited, high-resolution images, colour-corrected and cropped for menus, delivery apps, and social, with one revision round built in.
